My basement gets water. Can you still finish it?

Not until the water is dealt with. Finishing over an active moisture problem destroys the framing, the drywall, and your investment, usually within a couple of years. We look for the source first, and because we also do grading and drainage work, correcting it is often something we handle ourselves before a single wall goes up.

Does a finished basement need an egress window?

Any basement bedroom needs a code compliant egress opening, and that usually means cutting the foundation for a larger window and installing a well. We flag this during the quote rather than after the framing is up, and the egress work is part of the permitted scope.

How long does finishing a basement take?

Most basements run four to eight weeks depending on square footage, whether a bathroom is involved, and how quickly inspections get scheduled. We build the inspection windows into the schedule we hand you rather than treating them as a surprise.

Do you handle the tear-out if my basement is already partly finished?

Can you add a bathroom down there?
